Family Recipe for Kitchen Math with Thrifty Frugal Mom

With this yummy Salsa Ranch Chicken Wraps recipe from Thrifty Frugal Mom, you can easily have the kiddos help out and do a little kitchen math while you are at it.

Have them measure out the ingredients, have them figure out how much you would need to double or triple the recipe to serve more people.

It's also a great way to use up leftover chicken or turkey!

Salsa Ranch Chicken Wraps - Ingredients
4 flour tortillas (10-inch)
1 1/3 c. cooked chicken, chopped (could used canned)
4 Tbsp. Ranch dressing
4 Tbsp. salsa
1/3 c. shredded cheese
Dried basil
Garlic powder
Butter (about 2 Tbsp.)

When cooking with the kiddos, you want to use close supervision, but you'll be surprised at how quickly they catch on and how much more they are encouraged to eat healthy or try new foods when they take part in preparing it.
